YLT Goals
Youth League Tennis was created by Laura Kassirer, a
former Wimbledon player,
to give youth the opportunity to play organized,
social, competitive tennis in their own community,
regardless of their level or financial means.
Scholarships are provided for financially
disadvantaged youth. Youth League
Tennis hopes to receive charitable donations and
corporate sponsorships through
special fund raising events and generous supporters.
All donations are tax deductible.
These funds
will be used to market and run YLT in disadvantaged
communities where all participants will be provided
financial scholarships and Wilson tennis racquets.
YLT will also utilize public courts as sites in these
communities to provide local play, which will require
expensive facilities fees. YLT is committed
to bringing families quality tennis programs, that are
convenient for parents and fun for kids! We motivate kids to play and
reward them for their improvement.
YLT continuously advises families on the numerous
opportunities available to them,
including special events, professional tournaments,
local camps and private instructors, and the USTA.
